The Hudson Family Foundation Legends Club focuses on building self-esteem, pride, and hope in school-age children who are battling to overcome challenges in their lives. These challenges could include the death of a family member, terminal illnesses, military deployments, economic hardships, and more.

Teachers and guidance counselors from participating elementary schools identify students who meet the criteria for consideration for the Legends Club at their schools. These students are invited to attend an assembly at their school that takes place prior to Thanksgiving Break. At this assembly, the chosen students receive a beautiful Legends Club Certificate acknowledging their accomplishments and a Legends Award Champion’s Box provided by Publix Supermarket that will feed them and 10-12 family members at Thanksgiving.
