The Hudson Family Foundation Legends Club focuses on addressing food insecurity and building self-esteem and pride in school-age children who are battling to overcome challenges in their lives. These challenges could include the death of a family member, terminal illnesses, military deployments, economic hardships, and more.

Teachers and guidance counselors from participating elementary schools identify students who meet the criteria for consideration for the Legends Club at their schools. These students are invited to attend an assembly at their school that takes place prior to Thanksgiving Break. At this assembly, 1,200 local elementary students from the Auburn, Opelika, and Lee County School Districts will be recognized. They will be celebrated at Neville Arena and provided a Legends Certificate and a $100 Kroger gift card to provide a Thanksgiving meal for their family.
